Therapy Services
Our therapists specialize in working with people of all ages and we are proud of our team-based approach when working with families. While our therapeutic foundation is based in the Gestalt therapy approach, our therapists utilize modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), the Gottman method of couples counseling, mindfulness, yoga, and play therapy.

Couples/Marital Therapy
Gestalt therapy is a holistic, experiential and relational way of working with individuals and couples. Our couples therapists are here to help your relationship thrive. Couples therapy can be difficult, and we are here to help yours become successful.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy provides a safe and compassionate environment where you will explore your internal and life experiences and address any issues that are causing distress with the support and guidance of a therapist.

Family Therapy
If your family is in crisis or simply struggling to grow in a new direction, a session or series of sessions with a trained therapist can facilitate a productive and supportive conversation that fosters a safe space for real and lasting change.

Child, Adolescent, Teen, and Parent Therapy
We care deeply about providing effective counseling to children and adolescents. The Oaklander Model of Gestalt play therapy serves as a foundation to our work. Through this care, we are committed to structuring a therapeutic relationship that meets the child or adolescent where they are, allows them to hold a voice within the room, and considers the entire context.

Play Therapy
Play Therapy sessions involve working with carefully selected materials that promote open and projective play. These materials may include miniatures, animals figurines, sand, clay, musical instruments, puppets, games and arts and crafts.

Parenting Work
As families evolve and children grow new challenges are presented. If you are struggling to navigate what can feel like a changing landscape in raising your family, we can provide guidance, support, tools and feedback about what is influencing and affecting your child’s ability to thrive.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
“Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, or EMDR Therapy, is an evidence based mental health treatment helpful for easing distress associated with a multitude of mental health disorders. It is a structured therapy that encourages the client to briefly focus on a disruptive memory tied to a negative cognition about themself, while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (e.g., eye movements, sounds, or taps). The bilateral stimulation accesses different parts of the brain and encourages communication that betters emotional processing and regulation.

Premarital Counseling
Consider premarital counseling as the work to prepare for your marriage rather than just the wedding. You will participate in 5 sessions to work on concrete communication tools and facilitate important conversations around finances, children, extended family, values, boundaries, etc.
Those conversations may bring up deeper things to explore and understand and there is opportunity to keep working together to continue strengthening your relationship as you enter into this new commitment.
